it all starts with an idea

Hello Joy-Crew!

Well here I am staring at this blank page wondering to myself, “Do people even blog anymore?” I’m not sure if they do or don’t but either way here I am hoping to offer you some encouragement.

You might know me or you may have just stumbled onto my page looking for answers to so many questions surrounding disability or a diagnosis. So I’ll start with saying, hello! Welcome to Joyside. My name is Amber. You’ve probably picked up from my site that I’m a mom of an adorable little boy who is disabled. My life wasn’t always this way and the idea that I would one day have a business trying to coach other mom’s through the day to day of disability is only a story that could have been written by our Creator.

Joyside was born out of a deep burden to help other moms, just like me, who are navigating life with a child with a unique need. Finding resources, medical professionals, therapy clinics makes for a full life and if you don’t have a good place to start, well you are behind before you have even begun.

Here you will find some of my thoughts and ramblings. Hope you enjoy them.
